Terms of Service
Cordelette · The closed test community for Google Play developers
Acceptance of Terms
By using Cordelette, published by Saturn Software, you agree to these Terms and the Community Rules below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the Service Does — and Does Not
Cordelette organises groups of developers who test each other's apps so that each app can meet Google Play's closed-testing requirement. Google alone decides whether an app is granted production access; Saturn Software cannot guarantee any outcome and is not affiliated with Google.
Accounts
One account per person and one account per device. Keep your sign-in secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Community Rules
Test for real: install apps from Google Play and actually use them. Fake proofs, automation and emulators are not allowed.
Never trade, request or reward ratings or reviews. Incentivised reviews violate Google Play policy and are a reportable offence here.
Be respectful: no harassment, spam, scams or sharing of other people's personal data. Links in chat are limited to Google Play and Google Groups.
Apps you add must comply with Google Play policies, be free to install, and must not ask testers for payment or unnecessary personal data. Apps rated 18+ are labelled as such.
Trust and Sanctions
Your commitments to your camp are measured: missing the daily floor counts as a slip, and repeated slips lead to falling off the rope. Rule violations can lead to warnings, suspension or a permanent freeze. Every sanction comes with its reason and can be appealed once in the app.
Your Content
You keep the rights to the feedback and messages you write. You allow us to store them and show them to the people they are meant for (the app owner, the chat recipient) for the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
Optional Support Purchases
If offered, support purchases are voluntary, processed by Google Play Billing and never change camp rules, placement or Trust.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms or the Community Rules.
No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Cordelette is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saturn Software is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including any Google Play decision about your app.
Changes and Contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use means you accept the updated terms. Questions: support@saturnsoftware.store.
