Watch Autopilot Real phone, real camp: one tap, each app opens, the bubble counts 30 seconds, then the next app opens by itself.

About the App

Google Play asks new developer accounts for 12 testers over 14 days before production. Cordelette forms camps of 16 developers who install and test each other's apps every day, verified on the device: no credits, no review trading. A live Test Dashboard follows your app from day one, and at the summit the Summit Report gathers everything the production access form asks for.

Highlights

  • No account needed to browse: look at the open camps and how it works first, sign in only to join
  • Autopilot: one tap opens each app, counts 30 seconds and moves to the next by itself. About 10 minutes a day
  • Camps of 16: your app gets up to 15 real testers, and you test at least 12 apps a day
  • Today tab: the one thing to do now comes first, and you swipe a card away when it is done
  • Installs and daily tests verified on the device, no screenshots to prove
  • No credits and no review trading: everyone simply keeps the promise
  • Test Dashboard and Summit Report: data for every question on Google's production access form
  • Summit Register: reached production? Sign it with your app and its Play link
  • Structured feedback with device and version details, plus one-to-one chat with quoted replies
  • Trust score and fair, transparent rules with a right to appeal

What we ask for, and why

  • Notifications: Your daily reminder and camp alerts, like the camp filling up or a vote.
  • Usage Access: Only the on-screen time of the apps in your camp, to confirm each 30-second test. This is what replaces screenshot proof.
  • Display over other apps: A small countdown bubble on top of the app you are testing, so the next app can open by itself. Nothing on the screen is read.
  • Battery: unrestricted: So the phone does not stop the timer in the middle of a test.

All four are optional, asked one at a time with what happens if you allow or skip, and you can change them any time in Account → Permissions. Cordelette never asks for your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.

Questions people ask

Why is it free? What is the catch?

There is no catch. Running Cordelette costs about $5 a month in servers, and the domain was already ours. It was built by a developer stuck at the same wall as you, not as a business. If you want to support it, there is an optional coffee for the team in the app, and it never unlocks anything: no Pro tier, no ads, no credits. Same rules for everyone.

How long does it take each day?

The daily minimum is 12 apps, 30 seconds each. With Autopilot it is one tap and about 10 minutes: Cordelette opens each app, counts the time and moves to the next by itself.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. Without signing in you can browse the open camps, look inside a camp that is still gathering and run the full simulation on your phone. Google sign-in is asked only when you join a camp or add your app, and it is the standard Android account picker, not a website login.

What if I miss a day?

It counts as a slip, and you are warned before anything else happens. Only the third slip takes you out of the camp. Days when Google Play or our servers are down are not counted.

What can others see about me?

Camp details stay inside the camp. Members of your camp see who has done today's round and the camp's slips. While a camp is still gathering, signed-in visitors can look inside: the apps and the climbers' names, never the chat. Your Trust score is visible only to you. The ⓘ button on a camp shows exactly what each role can see.

Which permissions do you ask for, and why?

Notifications, for camp news and the counter. Usage Access, to count each app's screen time on your phone instead of asking for screenshots. Display over other apps, for the countdown bubble and opening the next app by itself. Battery unrestricted, so the counter does not stop halfway. Each one is asked only when it is needed, with what happens if you allow it or not. Changed your mind? Tap the small button next to the action, or open Account → Permissions. We never ask for contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.

Why did some apps not count my 30 seconds?

Some apps on Google Play are web apps that run inside Chrome, so Android records their screen time under Chrome. Cordelette now recognizes them and counts them correctly. If an app's time still cannot be read, Cordelette switches to its own timer, tells you on screen and reports the app to us so we can fix it.

Does the simulation affect my real Trust score?

No. The simulation runs entirely on your phone and sends nothing to our server. Its camp, feedback, reports and notifications are marked SIM, and you can restart or delete it any time.

Can testers leave written feedback?

Yes. Every day ends with a short feedback tour: you leave a note on the apps you tested, with your device and the app version attached, and the owner can reply. Helpful notes earn Trust, and owners can export all their feedback.

Why does Google Play say “Saturn Code”?

Saturn Code and Saturn Software are the same developer. The Saturn Software names were already taken on Google Play, so the developer account is Saturn Code; our website was set up earlier and kept its name.

Is Cordelette itself in closed testing?

Yes, and on purpose we say it out loud: we are at the same wall as everyone else. Joining the test is three steps (see "Join the closed test" above), and it helps us reach production too.
